MY HORNY JAGUAR is the alter-ego of Anacortes-based self-taught musician Saul Michael Vest. His 12-song debut LP, AND THE HEARSE HE RODE IN ON, was willed into existence through a year of self-examination, a crash course in music theory, and joyous collaborations with friends near & far. A lifelong cinephile and music nerd with decades of television and video production on his rap sheet, Vest (in his MHJ persona, with backup from Katie Williams, aka Special K) has alchemized his creative passions and influences into a wild-eyed and heartfelt 46-minute fever-dream of laughter, dance, and gratitude.
